Pressure Casting: Aluminum Zinc

Pressure-casting requires advanced steel moulds, as the metal is pressed into the moulds under high pressure. The quality is high and cleansing costs are low. Subsequent machining is seldom necessary, except for thread cutting.

Pressure Casting – The benefits of using this method:

  • Suitable for batch runs above 500 pcs.
  • Low mould costs.
  • Favourable unit prices.
  • Fine tolerances.
  • Smooth surface.
  • Suitable for small and medium-sized workpieces.

Pressure Casting:  Production in China

Our experience of production in China has been very positive. Our Chinese partner since 2004 supplies high-quality pressure-cast components to tight deadlines at very competitive workpiece and mould prices.

Every week we get large containers home from China with cast aluminum parts to our customers in Denmark and abroad.

Robot casted item, machined and surface treated

Here is a cast item that we have produced for a Danish designed robot. We have used pressure-casting for this item. The robot item has then also been machined and varnished at our partner in China.
